Many of you who know me well know that my husband, Jason, and I struggled through infertility for many years before we were finally blessed with our son, Joshua.  Many other amazing women who had also struggled with infertility before getting pregnant told me that I would appreciate my child and getting to be a momma more than most who hadn’t gone through the pain we did.  After a sleepless night, picking up a disaster of a house, not having showered in three days, eating take out for dinner 4 out of 7 nights that week, I had put Joshua down for his morning nap and plopped down on the sofa.  When I looked across the room, through my tired feet resting on the ottoman, and saw the toy bin full of toys, and the baby monitor buzzing away, knowing that my baby was happily snoozing on the other end, I felt joy.  Exhaustion, for sure.  But joy to the fullest.
